Scott
P. Schlesinger
Scott Schlesinger has been practicing personal injury
and medical malpractice law since 1984 and has successfully
obtained multimillion-dollar judgments for many of his
clients. Mr. Schlesinger earned his undergraduate degree
in biopsychology from Brown University, and went on
to earn his Juris Doctorate degree at the University
of Florida. Mr. Schlesinger is a member of the Florida
Bar, American Association for Justice, Florida Justice
Association, and Broward County Justice Association.
Jonathan
R. Gdanski
Jonathan is Gdanski is responsible for a broad range
of general civil litigation. He graduated cum laude
from Yeshiva University in New York with a degree in
history, where he went on to earn his law degree from
the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Mr. Gdanski also
studied at the Genesis Jerusalem Institute in Israel.
Steven
J. Hammer
Steven J. Hammer has years of experience defending clients
charged with very serious crimes in both State and Federal
Courts throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Hammer has
earned the highest possible Martindale-Hubble "AV"
rating. His extensive preparation and outstanding courtroom
reputation often keep most cases from trial and generate
superior results. Mr. Hammer has thousands of satisfied
clients whose rights have been protected by his skilled
and aggressive legal defense strategies. He believes
that early intervention is critical to successful results
and being proactive in a criminal case can often make
the difference between facing misdemeanor or felony
charges, or whether or not any charges are filed at
all.
One of Mr. Hammer's most significant achievements was
a $30 million verdict in one of Broward County's largest
medical malpractice cases, won in his first trial with
our firm.
Linda
A. Alley
Linda A. Alley practices in the field of medical malpractice
with the law offices of Sheldon J. Schlesinger, P.A.
Ms. Alley graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic
University in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in History.
She then attended the University of Florida Frederick
Levin School of Law where she graduated with honors
in 1998. Ms. Alley initially began working for the law
firm of Sheldon J. Schlesinger, P.A. as a paralegal
in 1991, then decided to further her education and become
an attorney. She continued to work with the Schlesinger
law firm during summer breaks and upon graduation and
successful completion of the bar examination, then returned
to Sheldon J. Schlesinger, P.A. as an attorney. She
has two children, Sarah and Brad.
Andrew H. Bate
Mr. Bate has been practicing law in Florida since 1988,
formerly with a major statewide defense trial firm and
most recently in-house for a Fortune 500 Healthcare
company. AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Andrew is admitted
to practice and has trial experience in all State and
Federal Courts of the State of Florida, and has participated
in the trial of cases in multiple other jurisdictions.
After spending 20 years observing and applying the internal
strategies and motivations of corporate defense and
insurance interests, Mr. Bate is uniquely qualified
to trace operational and financial motivations and to
accurately and clearly demonstrate such evidence and
causation to the jury. An avid family man and offshore
sailor and fisherman, he spends his spare time with
his wife of 25 years and their three children.
