Legal Aid recently selected Cristina Sabbagh, an associate attorney at Schlesinger Law Offices, P.A., as the February attorney of the month. She attracted their attention after handling two cases for Ryan White clients who needed assistance with their Last Will and Testaments.
The first client came to Legal Aid to ensure her property distribution wishes were clear and documented, as she was unmarried but in a serious relationship. Not long after the case was given to Cristina Sabbagh for pro bono assistance, the client called Legal Aid to convey how happy she was with Ms. Sabbagh’s service.
The client also referred her boyfriend for similar service. Ms. Sabbagh then graciously agreed to take on the second case, also pro bono, and completed a similar estate planning service both efficiently and satisfactorily. Her quick and competent legal counsel was conducted for two low-income individuals during one of the busiest times of the year—the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday months.
Cristina Sabbagh’s top-quality pro bono work for these two clients caught the attention of Legal Aid, who wanted to recognize her efforts by nominating her as the February attorney of the month. Her devotion to justice and her contributions to the members of the community who might otherwise not have received legal assistance put her on their radar.
Congratulations to Cristina Sabbagh for this deserved recognition of her accomplishments, hard work, and excellent service as a legal representative. Cristina is an associate attorney with Schlesinger Law Offices, P.A. Her focus is on personal injury, automobile accidents, product liability and medical malpractice. However, she also enjoys working with Legal Aid doing pro bono work in estate planning and probate.
