Jonathan Gdanski Selected to Steering Committee in National Juul Litigation

As the e-cigarette injury claims against Juul Labs have continued to mount over the last year, much of this complex litigation has been consolidated into a massive national multidistrict litigation or MDL, to ensure that all the cases against Juul Labs can be efficiently prosecuted. On December 20, 2019, District Judge William H. Orrick of the U.S. District Court of Northern California appointed several attorneys leadership positions on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee – including our attorney Jonathan Gdanski.

According to the documents filed with the court, Judge Orrick received applications and proposals from over 50 highly-qualified attorneys across the country. From personal injury to addiction cases to consumer class actions, there are many different types of cases involved in the MDL. Mr. Gdanski’s long track record of success fighting both tobacco and e-cigarette claims on behalf of plaintiffs makes him a great fit to join the PSC for this high-level litigation.

Committed to Protecting E-Cigarette Injury Victims

For over 60 years, Schlesinger Law Offices, P.A. has been seeking justice on behalf of injury victims throughout Florida and across the nation. Even before Juul e-cigarettes and similar products began to be linked with vaping illness last year, our experienced trial attorneys have been leading the way in complex Juul litigation, as well as product liability claims against the e-cigarette manufacturers.

We’d like to congratulate Attorney Gdanski on his recent appointment to the national MDL against Juul, and we hope that all e-cigarette manufacturers will be held accountable for causing injuries to our country’s youth.
